Teulada Moraira celebrates women week

Presentation of the week of the woman. A date that, according to the mayor, considered very important because it is the week where the struggle of women for their participation and equality in society is commemorated.

 

The municipality of Teulada Moraira, has organized a series of events, dedicated to work and equality of women in society.

 

The fight against gender violence will also be given importance.

 

 

The events will begin, next Thursday, March 8 at 12: 00h. with the reading of the manifesto in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Teulada and at 12:15 p.m. the prizes of the poster contest “Semana de la Mujer” will be handed out. In the afternoon, the storyteller “Els Contes de Nadia” will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Moraira Reading Agency.

 

On Friday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m., another new edition of “Els Contes de Nadia” will be held this time at the Municipal Library of Teulada and at 7:30 p.m., the painting exhibition “Quatre dones de paleta i pinzell” will be inaugurated. , gifts of the nostra terra “in the exhibition hall of the Espai La Senieta de Moraira, enlivened by the soprano Claire-Maire. At the end a wine of honor will be offered to all attendees.

 

Continuing, on Saturday, March 10, the III Women’s Padel Tournament “Setmana de la Dona” will take place. All those interested in participating can register for free at the municipal sports office, at Almassera (Avda. Santa Catalina, 15).
